Eva Lundgren, holds a position as University Lecturer in piano and piano pedagogy at Malmö Academy of Music, Lund University. She also teaches piano at Sundsgården folk high school in Helsingborg.

Eva Lundgren is President of EPTA Sweden (European Piano Teacher’s Association).

She received her master degree at Malmö Academy of Music, Lund university with prof. Hans Pålsson and Marianne Jacobs. This was followed by further study at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki with Sirkka Harjunmaa.

Eva Lundgren is much in demand as a piano teacher. Many of her students now enjoys a career as musicians and piano teachers. Eva has been invited to hold master classes in Spain, China, Japan, Sweden and at summer courses. She has held several lectures on piano pedagogy for piano teachers throughout Sweden and in Japan organized by Yamaha. She has been a jury member at Nordic piano competition in Malmö and Northern Lights Piano Festival & Competition in Ingesund.

2015 Eva Lundgren was awarded the “Mai von Rosen piano pedagogy prize” from the Royal Swedish Academy of Music.
