MALMÖ PIANO COMPETITION

AND FESTIVAL

supported by Yamaha
October 29th to November 2nd, 2024

Hyllie Park Concert Hall, Malmö

Dear friends,

We are happy to invite you to the Malmö Piano Competition and Fesrtival supported by Yamaha !

In October/November 2024 , we will welcome young and talented pianists from all over Scandinavia. This will be a great opportunity for us to discover new talents. Who knows, maybe some of them will be future international artists.

Our little pianists, who just started taking their first steps on their piano journey, will get a wonderful opportunity to perform on a grand piano in a big concert hall. Already from a very early age they will get a feeling of being a real artist and be able to overcome stage fright.

This year there will be opportunities for participants in all categories to participate in Masterclasses and listen to concerts.

This competition could not have been organized without the support of our main sponsor Yamaha Piano Center Scandinavia, who sponsors us with generous prizes . We would also like to express our big gratitude to Hyllie Park for providing premises for the competition ,to Malmö Art Museum , to all other sponsors with their donations and to the people who support us.

I would like to express my personal gratitude to the competition board. Without them I would not have been able to make my dream of the piano competition in Malmö come true.

Enjoy playing the piano! Give joy to the audience with your performance! Don’t be afraid to express your talent and individuality!

Good luck!
Artistic director, Yamaha Artist Scandinavia, Julia Sigova
